Fue un compositor y director musical que tuvo que ir a luchar en la Guerra Civil con el ejército de la República. Creador del Folklore Sajeño.

Desde muy pequeño se interesó por la música, asistió al Conservatorio de Valencia y llegó a ser el director de banda más joven del momento.

En la Guerra Civil fue destinado a la banda de Carrión, al frente de Teruel, llegando a ser Capitán Músico Mayor. Durante los bombardeos rezaba para que pasara no le destrozaran el piano, ya que era su más preciada posesión.

Al acabar la guerra fue encarcelado por el cargo que ostentaba, pero al año fue liberado por orden del dictador. Abandonó su carrera militar, fundó una familia y siguió dedicándose a la música. Tras jubilarse fue nombrado Director Honorífico.

Fallecería en Gandía. Donó a la villa de Sax su legado musical.

From an early age he was interested in music, attended the Valencia Conservatory and he became the youngest band director of the moment.

In the Civil War it was destined to the band of Carrión, to the front of Teruel, getting to be Captain Greater Musician. During the bombings, he prayed that the piano would not be destroyed, it was his most precious possession.

At the end of the war, he was imprisoned due to his position, but a year, later he was released by order of the dictator. He abandoned his military career, founded a family and continued with the music. After retiring, he was named Honorary Director.

He died in Gandia. He donated his musical legacy to Sax.
