Fue un religioso católico español, conocido por su apoyo al gobierno republicano durante la Guerra Civil Española, un sacerdote antifranquista.

Se mostró contrario a la actitud de la jerarquía eclesiástica.  El gobierno de la República le llegó a nombrar jefe de la Sección Técnica de las Confesiones y Congregaciones Religiosas. Le encomendaron la compleja tarea de investigar los casos de miseria entre los clérigos escondidos a fin de ayudarles.

Terminada la guerra, se exilió en los Estados Unidos, donde ejerció como sacerdote en Nueva York.

He was a Spanish Catholic religious, known for his support for the Republican government during the Spanish Civil War, he was an anti-Franco priest.

He was opposed to the attitude of the ecclesiastical hierarchy. The government of the Republic named him chief of the Technical Section of the Confessions and Religious Congregations. He was entrusted with the complex task of investigating cases of misery among the hidden clergy in order to help them.

After the war, he went into exile in the United States, where he served as a priest in New York.
